kinda 'kind' bars.

I found this recipe by Life (and running) in Iowa on Pinterest recently and the photos had me salivating. 

I love the pre-packaged version so I thought it would be fun to try this recipe out. 


1 cup chopped almonds 
1 cup chopped mixed nuts 
1/2 cup raisins
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1/4 cup pure brown rice syrup
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons crushed graham crackers
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt

on a whim I added some crushed up Annie's because I was missing ground flax seeds. So these got a little de-healthified ha! 


Add wet ingredients to the graham and nut mixture. 




These taste delicious straight out of the fridge and they were super easy to whip up.
